Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager with a solid background in digital marketing channels, tools, strategies, measurement and operations. This role is essential for streamlining our marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals, and improve the quality and vlocity of our marketing activites.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement: Define and refine processes across departments, setting clear KPIs and metrics for evaluation.
  • Marketing Technology Stack Management: Oversee and optimize the suite of marketing tools and software (CRM systems, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and data flow across systems.
  • Online Platforms Management: Utilize knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content marketing to enhance strategies and ROI.
  • Data Management and Analytics: Ensuring data quality and compliance. Utilize analytics to monitor and report on marketing campaign performance, website traffic, lead generation, and conversion rates, providing insights for decision-making.
  • Data Requirements Management: Work closely with the data teams to define and execute a marketing data roadmap. 
  • Project Management: Leading cross-departmental projects by defining, aligning, and ensuring all steps are well defined and executed.
  • Data Analysis: Work with data analysts to base marketing decisions on solid data insights.
  • Workflow Coordination: Ensure smooth collaboration between marketing and cross-functional teams on various activities.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Streamline meeting protocols and vendor management to boost productivity.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop methods for assessing team performance and aligning with business goals.
  • Compliance and Data Privacy: Ensure all marketing operations comply with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and company policies.
  • Budget and Vendor Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Oversee vendor relationships, including negotiation and management of contracts for marketing tools and services.

  • Team & Project Measurement: Implement KPIs and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Technology Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize the marketing technology stack to ensure that the team has access to the best tools and that those tools are integrated for maximum impact.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline marketing operations to reduce costs, improve speed, and ensure the marketing team can focus on strategic initiatives rather than being bogged down by operational issues.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish a culture of data-driven decision-making within the marketing team, leveraging insights from analytics to guide strategy and tactics.
  • Marketing and Sales Alignment: Ensure that marketing and sales are closely aligned, with shared goals, clear communication channels, and processes that support a seamless customer journey from awareness to purchase.
  • Scalable Processes: Develop and maintain scalable marketing processes that can grow with the company, supporting expansion into new markets or product lines without a loss in effectiveness or efficiency.
  • Compliance and Data Security: Maintain the highest standards of data privacy and security, ensuring that marketing operations build trust with customers and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Marketing Operations Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, or a related field within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with marketing technology tools and platforms such as marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), email marketing platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker), and data management platforms.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience managing cross-functional projects and teams. 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of SaaS Business Model: Knowledge of the SaaS business model, customer lifecycle, and digital marketing strategies relevant to SaaS products.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.

  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success.
