Hey, I'm Rupert Culme-Seymour, I'm the owner and founder of Seeking Out Solutions.

Shaked:
What do you think are the biggest challenges today in staff management?

Rupert:
For me, currently, there is some big challenges across the sector regarding both attraction, retention and reward. You know, working with a number of clients around the value proposition to engage and attract people to their business. And I think if those are correctly understood and delivered with real purpose, that's the first start.

Shaked:
What tools can I use in order to do that?

Rupert:
I think it's really important for the business leaders to understand what their staff are expecting.
I think one of the key things to understand from that first engagement is - What do those employees want? What are they looking for?
And if you can adapt your plans and your programs to meet their expectations, then you’ll have an engaged group of staff.

Shaked:
Maybe I would ask, from your experience, one tip, something that you wish you knew earlier, that you want to show with new managers, new business owners.

Rupert:
Deliver on their promises, don't sell the dream, if the dream is not real, make sure it's really current, really approachable, really understanding and really clear.
