About the role:
We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Manager to lead and mentor our DevOps engineers, ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of software systems. This role is pivotal to driving efficiency, reliability, and innovation within our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. As the DevOps Manager, you will play a key role in defining DevOps strategies, promoting best practices, and leading the team to achieve operational excellence in collaboration with development, IT, and business teams.
What you'll be doing:
Manage and guide a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical leadership and mentoring. Define and implement DevOps strategies and processes that enhance collaboration across development, IT operations, and QA teams.
Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated deployments and seamless code integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA, to align DevOps processes with business needs.
Oversee the management and scaling of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
Which qualifications you’ll need:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or management role, with proven experience leading and scaling DevOps teams.
- Production experience with Public Cloud & container orchestration systems.
- Deep understanding of IaC concepts and experience with tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Chef, Ansible, etc.
- Broad knowledge and experience with popular observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, Elasticsearch, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.
- Experience in implementing team structures, managing performance, and developing team members.
