What is the Customer Marketing role at Connecteam?

As Connecteam’s Customer Marketing Manager, you will work under the Customer Success department to keep tens of thousands of customers informed and engaged with our latest releases, updates, and content that will take their businesses to the next level. Your goal is to educate customers on how to maximize the use of our platform and how to become better business owners to help their businesses thrive. You will use multiple channels to reach our customers effectively, including email, in-product messaging, and our Facebook community.

 

What we are looking for:

We seek a dynamic and experienced Customer Marketing Manager to join our Customer Success team to lead our customers to new heights. You will be responsible for building out processes, strategies, and initiatives from the ground up. Your main responsibilities will include developing customer marketing strategies, writing and executing impactful campaigns to keep our customers informed about new releases and updates, and providing educational resources that empower our customers to become better business owners. You will engage actively with our Facebook community, answering questions, sharing updates, and fostering a strong sense of community among our users. Staying up to date with client marketing trends and analyzing and optimizing the effectiveness of campaigns will be vital in making data-driven decisions to improve engagement and satisfaction.

 

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Develop customer marketing strategies: Develop strategies on how to take the customer marketing role to the next level
  • Execute campaigns: Write and manage campaigns to keep customers informed about new releases and updates
  • Educate and empower customers: Provide educational resources to help customers use Connecteam more effectively, empowering them to become better business owner
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with our Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive customer experience

 

Act as a service provider: You will act as a service provider to the aforementioned departments and aid them when needed to send out large communications to our customer base

  • Analyze and optimize: Assess the effectiveness of customer marketing campaigns and strategies and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and satisfaction.

 

Which qualifications you’ll need:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a customer marketing or related role - MUST
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) - MUST
  • Experience in B2B or B2C SaaS – MUST
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools: Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar tools.

Analyzing data and metrics to measure campaign success and customer engagement.

  • Ability to think strategically about customer engagement and retention initiatives.

Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

  • Experience with segmenting customer bases and tailoring communications to different audience groups
  • A team player who enjoys getting and providing feedback, sharing ideas, and constantly improving together
  • A strong work ethic, integrity, and desire to succeed
  • Growth mindset and thrive in the building stage of a nascent team
