Sales Development Representative

Mid Tier

About this role:

As an SDR at Connecteam you will join our mid market team and engage with inbound leads (requests for demos, quotes, trials and general information). Your role would be to help scale the operation by nurturing intent among early leads that expressed interest in what we do, and to help us refine and scale the operation.

This position involves helping build the foundation of our sales and marketing efforts, you’ll play an integral role in helping grow the business!

Responsibilities:

  • As an SDR you’ll help us engage with inbound leads via calls/email/social
  • Identify the qualified leads and set up qualified demos for Sales to establish and grow pipeline opportunities
  • Email campaigns and follow up with relevant leads
  • Establish and nurture long term relationships with Top of funnel leads via LinkedIn/emails/chat, moving them through the sales funnel, until they are ready for high intent engagement with a sales rep.
  • Manage all of your prospecting efforts in our CRM tool (hubspot) to ensure we can track all sales and prospecting activity
  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales team on strategic new business initiatives (markets, roles, geographies etc.) to generate new opportunities. 
  • Researching and mapping our target audience around organizational structure, people, and existing technology, and creating a plan with product marketing of whom to contact and with which offering.
  • Manage, nurture and grow a pipeline of relevant outband prospects
  • Research and prospect our markets to find the ideal companies and contacts who will benefit from our product, and to establish new business and build relationships with key decision-makers in those targeted accounts (ABM).

Requirements:

  • Hunger for success, high energy, self motivation, team player, happy person with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to get scrappy, we’re a start-up!
  • Native English speaker - must! 
  • 1+ years in sales, prospecting, and lead generation for B2B businesses - Big plus
  • Comfortable cold calling and talking/meeting with new people
  • Well organized and process oriented
  • Persistent; doesn’t take “no” for an answer
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail balanced with swift execution
  • Resilience in fast-paced, high profile and ever-changing situatIons
  • Working Days – Mon – Fri
